Documentation for new students - Master's degree
Students admitted onto a master's programme have uploaded the required documentation (legalisations, translations, attested copies, etc.) onto the document manager during the access and admissions process.
To access online registration, students must first present the original versions of the following documents to the Secretary's Office:
DOCUMENTATION TO BE PROVIDED BY ALL STUDENTS (except for those with URV degrees):
- Identity document:
- Spanish students: there is no need to present your DNI, as the URV will check with corresponding administration.
- Foreign students from a member state of the European Union: original and photocopy or an attested photocopy* of their national identity document issued by their country, passport or Spanish residence card (NIE) and which must not have expired.
- Foreign students from a country outside the European Union: original and photocopy or an attested photocopy* of their passport or Spanish residence card (NIE) which must not have expired.
- University qualification that allows access to the course (bachelor's degree or equivalent) or the receipt demonstrating payments of the fees for the issuance of this qualification: Original and photocopy, the Secretary's Office will attest the photocopy of the qualification/receipt and return the original to the student or attested photocopy* of the original document. For URV graduates it’s not need this document because it is already in the University’s archive. For Spanish university students it's not need to provide this document because we will verify it through the qualifications register of the corresponding ministry. If we cannot verify it, you will be asked to provide the receipt conforming that you have paid the fees for the issuance of the certificate.
DOCUMENTATION TO BE PROVIDED BY THE FOLLOWING STUDENTS:
- Large families issued outside Catalonia: original and photocopy or certified photocopy of the large family document.
- Victims of terrorist attacks, victims of gender violence perpetrated by a partner, or people with a level of disbility equal to or greater than 33% from outside Catalonia: original and photocopy or certified photocopy* of accrediting documentation.
- Beneficiaries of the minimum living allowance: original and photocopy or an attested photocopy* of accrediting documentation.
- Female students who are victims of gender violence not perpetrated by a partner: original and photocopy or just an attested photocopy* of the accreditation for female students who are victims of gender violence not perpetrated by a partner (PVM) issued by AGAUR.
- With permanent residence in Spain and who are not citizens of EU member states, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Andorra and who apply to pay the cost applicable to residents in Spain for master's degrees that do not qualify the holder to work in a regulated profession: Original and photocopy or certified photocopy* of the card/permit that demonstrates the student's right to be resident in Spain (study cards are not accepted).
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:
- In certain situations the secretary's office may require students to provide documentation demonstrating that they have completed the courses that enable them to access the university or documentation that shows that they are eligible for an exemption from fees (e.g. victims of terrorist acts, victims of domestic violence, disabilities, etc.)
*It will not be necessary to photocopy or attested photocopy if the student sends documentation in electronic format as long as the integrity of the document can be validated by means of CSV or equivalent.
REMEMBER:
- Foreign students who have to make any financial transaction (e.g. apply for a grant) must possess and present a Spanish foreign resident's card (NIE). During their studies at the URV they must use the NIE to identify themselves to the University.
- The presentation of attested copies is governed by articles 8 and 9 of regulations governing registration for bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
- Students who are applying for an exemption from registration fees must provide documentary proof that they find themselves in the circumstances that make them eligible for the exemption on the date on which their studies begin (9 September 2024). This documentation must be presented within the specified period (article 9 of regulations governing registration for bachelor's and master's degrees).
- Students who do not present the required documentation within the specified period will have their registration temporarily suspended in accordance with the regulations governing registration for bachelor's and master's degrees.
