Quality in teaching
In accordance with the commitment to transparency required from university institutions within the framework of the European Higher Education Area, and according to the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG) and the Royal Decree 1393/2007, which establishes the organisation of official university education, and subsequent modifications, universities must guarantee that their actions achieve the objectives of the training they provide.
To meet this challenge, the URV has quality policies and develops them by means of objectives, strategies and lines of action with a dual orientation. On the one hand, it seeks to influence teaching quality from a methodological-pedagogical point of view, as specified in the teaching model and in the value proposal of its training offer. On the other hand, it introduces quality assurance mechanisms related to the life cycle of the degrees. These are implemented in the URV's faculties and schools through an Internal Quality Assurance System and at degree level through the framework for verification, monitoring, modification and accreditation. At the same time, determining the satisfaction among interest groups is key to meeting the challenge.
