Final Degree Project - Development of a device for pilots with reduced mobility
- Coordination: Maria de los Ángeles Cuevas Silva (macuevas.pdi(ELIMINAR)@cesda.com)
- Community organization: Asociación Las Sillas Voladoras.
- Summary: This final degree project, undertaken during the academic year 2021-22, consists of developing a device to act on the rudder and brake system of a generic light single-engine aircraft for pilots with reduced mobility. Essentially, the device will allow pilots with reduced mobility to operate aircraft more safely without having to make a structural adaptation. Consequently, the physical barriers that people with this condition have to face would be eliminated, so that aviation would be more accessible.
