Summary: This project comes from the 1st Social Projects Marketplace, held at the Faculty of Business and Economics in Reus during the 2014-2015 academic year. The thesis studied the environmental and health impacts of high voltage towers in El Pinar. Specifically, it investigated the effects of the electromagnetic fields generated by the high-voltage power lines that run through this residential area. The student presented the project and explained how it was carried out, its challenges and outcomes. This encouraged the student to reflect during the service learning experience and to consider any given situation in an objective, subjective and analytical way.
