David Martin Frigols

The area of planning, coordination and economic control engages in economic improvement projects, analyses and interprets the model that funds the Catalan public universities, makes economic and budgetary plans (that's to say, it drafts the budget proposal), prepares and manages the University's budget, and monitors compliance with the implementation of the University's budget, among other things. 

Curriculum 

Born in Valencia in 1968 I graduated in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona and subsequently studied the Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the URV. 

When I finished my studies, I worked for three years in the field of account auditing for Gassó Auditores, currently RSM Gassó. Subsequently, I worked for 7 years in the private sector, as financial director for a group of companies in the construction industry. I later joined the University, the URV Foundation (FURV), as head of the Economic Management Service and finally as director of resources, where I worked for 18 years. During that time, I combined my duties with those of general manager of the Pere Virgili Institute for Health Research, a CERCA institution. 

I am currently working for the URV's Office of the General Manager as director of planning, coordination and economic control. 

I have a well-developed sense of responsibility, I am a facilitator, I need lifelong learning, and I focus on objectives and results.
