The URV's organisational structure

Find out about the how the URV is structured and the general governing bodies.

Management and administration units

The managerial, administrative and service staff (PTGAS) belong to a managerial or administrative unit that provides support to university activities and the governing bodies of academic areas.

Among other things, these units are responsible for the processes of student and staff management, accounting, administrative contracts, infrastructures, computer and educational resources, academic management, teaching, research and international relations.

Teaching structures

As well as the units mentioned above, the URV is organised into faculties, schools and departments, which are responsible for degrees and the teaching and research staff (PDI), respectively. The faculties and schools set course dates and timetables, and coordinate the bachelor's and master's degrees, while the departments teach the courses entrusted to them by the faculties/schools and assess the students.
