Working sessions

Do you want to participate in an introductory course of audiovisual media archaeology?

We meet once per month to discuss papers and specific projects. We share viewpoints in an informal and warm ambient. We are able to arrive as far as the dialogue on the proposed materials allow us in each session.

It is no necessary to have previous knowledge on the matter. However, we expect some curiosity and the desire to think about media history collectively.

CALENDAR FOR THE FIRST SEMESTER 2023/2024:

October 17: Media Archaeology. An introduction

November 14: Experimental Media Archaeology

December 12: Media Archaeology and Feminism

January 16: Media Archaeology and the Archive

Place: Aula de Cinema i Arts Audiovisuals, Campus Catalunya, URV.
Modality: on-site (preferably), with on-line Access via Teams.

The course is free and open, but it is compulsory to get in touch with the Aula de Cinema to register and receive the material for each session. 
 

Note: debates Will be held in Catalan and Spanish languages. Some of the texts and projects we will visiting are also in English.
