Coronas Salcedo, Alberto
Alberto Coronas is Full Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University Rovira i Virgili and founder and director of the research group of Applied Thermal Engineering-CREVER (www.urv.cat). His research activity covers the field of absorption technology for refrigeration and heat pumps, heat transfer and thermophysical properties of new working mixtures, and polygeneration technologies. He has supervised more than 40 PhD theses and published referenced technical publications. He has served on scientific committees of international conferences such as the International Sorption Heat Pump Conference, the Solar Air Conditioning Conference, the International Polygeneration Conference, Rankine 2020 etc. He is member of the Science and Technology Council (STC) of International Institute of Refrigeration, and President of Commission IIR-E2 Heat Pumps, Energy Recovery since 2015. He is a member of the Eurotherm Committee.
