Reguero De La Poza, Maria Del Mar

Mar Reguero holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences (1989). She studied at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and worked as a postdoctoral researcher from 1990 to 1992 in several research institutions. In 1993 she enrolled at the Department of Physical and Inorganic Chemistry of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV at Tarragona, Spain), being Associate Professor since 1997.

Her research in the Chemistry field is focused on the computational elucidation of reaction mechanisms. In this field she has continuously participated in competitive projects, has published about 50 papers in international indexed journals and has supervised 6 PhD thesis, all of them awarded with Cum Laude mention.

She is also member of the group for doctoral professionalization at the URV. As such, she participates in the training programs carried out at URV and other universities (in at least 13 Spanish and 5 international universities); she is co-author of several publications and presentations in international conferences and has been the editor of a book on the field of doctoral supervision published by the URV.
