URV-T-Systems Cloud Computing Chair

The URV-T-Systems Cloud Computing Chair is the result of a collaboration agreement between URV and T-Systems.

This Chair's main mission is to analyze the impact of Cloud technology on the business world and society in general, through research, education, and dissemination. It aims to deepen the knowledge of Cloud Computing and its implications in various aspects, train students and professionals in this field, and bring knowledge of this technology to society in general. All with the goal of contributing to the development and expansion of Cloud Computing in various areas of society.

Conceived as a tool for interdisciplinary reflection, debate, and dissemination around Cloud Computing, the Chair will be based on three fundamental pillars: research, education, and dissemination. Therefore, it will aim to fulfill the following objectives:

1. Research: The Chair will analyze the impact of Cloud Computing on the business world and society through research. Studies will be conducted, data will be collected, and results will be interpreted to deepen knowledge about this technology and its implications. Various aspects will be researched, such as the labor field, information security, and user privacy. It will also seek to identify the benefits and challenges that Cloud Computing presents for businesses and society and address them effectively. The Chair is committed to staying updated on the latest trends and advances in this area, contributing to the development of knowledge about Cloud Computing and its implications in society.

2. Education: The Chair will provide education for students and professionals in the field of Cloud Computing.
