Dr.Saladié research stay at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Puebla
Dr. Òscar Saladié, professor of the Department of Geography of URV and director of DOW/URV Chair of Sustainable Development, has a research stay at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Puebla (Mexico), between April 29 and June 13, where he participated in the activities developed in the framework of the Interdisciplinary Program in Environment (PIMA) of this Mexican university, led by Dr. Benjamin Ortiz.
The PIMA was awarded in 2013 with the Mexican national prize in the environment, particularly in the category of “Formal Environmental Education”. The PIMA includes a degree in Environmental Science and Sustainable Development, the Master in Climate Change and the PhD in Development, Environment and Planning, as well as part of the Laboratory of Climate Change and Land Planning.
Finally, during the visit of Dr. Saladié at the Universidad Iberoamericana de Puebla, they set the groundwork for establishing a collaborative agreement between this Mexican University and the University Rovira i Virgili.
