Dow/URV Chair of Sustainable Development in "Smart Quimic"

On Tuesday December 3rd, in Institut Químic de Sarrià (IQS), was held the public presentation of “Smart Quimic” magazine.

The first edition includes an article written by Dr. Òscar Saladié, director of Dow/URV Chair of Sustainable Development, where he explains the synergies between Dow Chemical Ibérica and Universitat Rovira i Virgili in order to make a more sustainable future. The paper contains the strategic objectives of Dow/URV Chair of Sustainable Development and adds details about the current work and featured activities.

In this sense, presently the Dow/URV Chair has assumed the assignment of develop one of the strategies of URV Environment Plan: the curricular environmentalization. This approach hopes to incorporate the environmental sensitivity to all undergraduate studies of the URV, independently of knowledge field of each student.
