Compulsory registration for subsequent years

In general, students must re-register for all Basic Training subjects that they registered during the previous academic year.

However, some faculties require students to re-register for all Basic Training subjects and all Compulsory subjects that they registered for in the previous year and did not pass. The faculties that will apply this requirement are: Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Legal Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Chemistry (applies only to the Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Double Degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology), EUSES and CESDA.

Students who wish to register for more than 30 credits should be aware that they must include all the Basic Training subjects or all the Basic Training and Compulsory subjects that they registere during the previous academic year. They cannot register for new subjects if they have not included all subjects pending from the previous academic year.

(1) In the case of students taking two degrees at the same time, the minimum number of credits they can register for is set at 15 for one course and 30 for the other.
(2) The minimum number of credits includes recognised credits.
(3) New students admitted during the assignations after 15 October must register for at least 30 credits during the first semester with the authorisation of the degree coordinator.
(4) The maximum number of credits does not include subjects for which the student has registered but not passed during the previous academic year, except in certain cases (the bachelor's degrees taught at the ETSE and ETSEQ do include subjects registered for but not passed in the previous academic year in their maximum number of credits).

Compulsory registration for onwards years

Students must register in Basic training subjects registered and not passed during the previous academic year. The students wishing to register for more than 6 credits have to keep in mind that the increase forces to include basic training subjects registered and not passed the previous year. Students cannot add new subjects if they do not include all those outstanding from the previous year.

Students who are registered for one of the URV's bachelor's degrees that are taught at different campuses cannot re-register at another campus in the following academic year if they fail to pass the minimum number of credits.

Even though the bachelor's degrees are attended by different groups of students, in academic terms they are considered to be the same course leading to the same qualification. Consequently, the minimum credit requirement for each student is applied equally across all the bachelor's degree courses, regardless of the campus at which the student has originally registered.

At the URV, the bachelor's degrees affected by this situation are the:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Administration

- Campus Bellisens
- Campus de Terres de l'Ebre
