Diana Gorostidi Pi is a graduate in Classical Philology (Barcelona, 1997; Special Prize) and obtained her doctorate in the Sciences of Antiquity (Saragossa, 2008) with the thesis L'epigrafia llatina de l'antiga ciutat de Tusculum (Lacio, Itàlia) (Fundació Pastor Prize for Classical Studies). Since 2008 she has been researcher at the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC) and since 2011 she has been professor at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). She has been a member of the Tusculum research project directed by Xavier Dupré of the Escuela Española de Historia y Arqueología en Roma - CSIC (2000-2008) and has collaborated with Professor Géza Alföldy on the edition of the fascicle dedicated to Tarraco del Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum (CIL II2/14, 2-3).
Since starting at the ICAC, she has been a member of the Arqueometria i Produccions Artístiques (ArPA) research group, which she currently leads alongside Anna Gutiérrez Garcia-M. With Pilar Lapuente she has led the I+D projects Officinae Lapidariae (HAR2015-65319-P, 2015-2019) and Sulcato marmore ferro (PID2019-106967GB-I00) on the identification, exploitation and use of stone materials for artistic production in the Tarraconense.
Her principal publications include the monographs: Ager Tarraconensis 3.
