The inter-university master's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry for Health responds to the growing need for professionals in chemistry and biochemistry who have a specialist understanding of the aptitudes, standards and values of the field of health and who can work with guarantees and quality in an interdisciplinary environment. Graduates of the master's degree will also be able to take active part in biomedical and biohealth research and in clinical laboratories.
The master's degree is coordinated by the Universitat de Barcelona, and the other participating universities are Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Girona and Universitat de València.
The master's degree is aimed at university graduates in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnology. Other related degrees will be assessed by the Coordinating Committee of the master's degree to determine whether their curricula can be deemed to be equivalent.
Blended learning is organised as follows:

First year, blended learning: 54 online ECTS credits and 6 face-to-face ECTS credits

Second year, face-to-face learning: internship (19 ECTS credits) and master's thesis (12 ECTS credits)
