University Master's Degree in Computational Engineering and Mathematics - 1st edition

Admission

The official master's degree in Computational Engineering and Mathematics is aimed at people with a university degree in:

  • Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and related fields.
  • Engineering or Technical Engineering Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aeronautics and related fields.

Specific documentation

In addition to the general documentation required for pre-enrolment in the programme, you can also submit:

  • Certification demonstrating that you have a level of English equivalent to B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, unless English is the native language of your country of origin or your previous qualifications were taught in English. If you cannot demonstrate your level of English, the master's degree admission committee can assess your level by means of an interview or level test.

You can also present the following documentation:

  • Accreditation of complementary training (courses, seminars, or other training activities) or accreditation of professional experience related to the content of the master's degree.
  • Accreditation of professional and research experience related to the master's degree.

Selection Criteria

The following aspects are evaluated, with points awarded accordingly:

1.The qualification enabling the student to gain access to the master's: up to a maximum of 40 points awarded in accordance with the following criteria:

a. Degrees in the sciences: up to a maximum of 40 points.

b. Degrees in engineering: up to a maximum of 40 points.

c. Degrees in other areas: 0 points.

2. The academic transcript of the official university degree that gives access to the master's degree: up to a maximum of 35 points.

3. Previous research experience: up to a maximum of 10 points.

4. Previous professional experience: up to a maximum of 10 points.

5. Complementary training (courses, seminars or other training activities, with documentary evidence) or professional experience related to the content of the Master's degree: up to a maximum of 5 points.
