University Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering - 12th edition

Admission

The Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering is especially aimed at graduates in Industrial Engineering with the specialities of Industrial Technologies, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Textile Engineering. It is also aimed at graduates of the above specialities in Technical Industrial Engineering and of other engineering degrees, who will be required to take some bridging courses (click here to see the admission profile for students of this master's degree).

Students wishing to study the master's degree should:

  • Have technical training and wish to develop a career in the industry.
  • Have an understanding of basic and technological issues in the industrial sector.
  • Be able to analyse and evaluate the social and environmental impact of technical solutions.

The general compulsory documentation needed to pre-register.

Selection criteria

  1. Up to 8 points depending on the qualification giving access to the programme:
    • Official engineering degrees in the following specialities: Industrial Technologies; Electrical Engineering; Industrial and Automatic Electronic Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Textile Engineering: up to 8 points.
    • Official degrees in Technical Industrial Engineering in the specialities of the criterion above: up to 7 points.
    • Official engineering degrees with other specialities: up to 6 points.
    • Other engineering or science degrees: up to 3 points.
  2. Up to 4 points for the academic transcript of the university degree which gives you access to the Master's Degree. Applications will be sorted from the highest to the lowest score. Applicants who have studied at a foreign university must submit the declaration of equivalence of their grade point average in compliance with the procedure described at the Spanish Ministry of Education website.

Nevertheless, if there are more places available than applications, the selection committee may assign places without the need to prioritise applications in accordance with the previous criteria.
