Sorry, but either you are using a computer which is incompatible with Chime 2, or you are using a web browser other than Netscape.

If you are using a computer other than Windows 95/98/NT or Macintosh PPC, using Protein Explorer on your computer will require a Windows subsystem. This is particularly inexpensive and easy on linux.

MDL Information Systems, Inc., the providers of free MDL Chime 2, offers it only for Windows 95/98/NT (not Windows 3.1) and Macintosh PPC (not 68K).

Protein Explorer can be run effectively under linux by installing a Windows subsystem. Other platforms can run Protein Explorer effectively in a local window to a remote Windows NT session.
