  • Coordination: Catalina Jordi Amorós (catalina.jordi(ELIMINAR)@urv.cat)
  • Organisation: Institut Antoni Ballester (Antoni Ballester Secondary School)
  • Summary: For this 2015-2016 academic year project, students designed a questionnaire to make sixteen-year-old teenagers aware of the importance of social media posts in finding work in the future. As a pilot study, the questionnaire was completed by pupils in the 4th year of ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education) from the Antoni Ballester secondary school in Miami Platja and Mont-roig del Camp. After analysing the results, students wrote a report to inform the school about their pupils' views. This service learning project can help schools make their students aware of the importance of personal reputation.

To do this, they studied the jobs provided by the Casal l'Amic Foundation to create a welcome plan for newcomers. They also reviewed the capabilities and functions of the Foundation and drew up a comprehensive employment plan which covers the first contact with the organisation, training and development, and finally finding work with the assistance of a wide range of participants.
