Information for selected candidates and experts
List of necessary documents for selected candidates
Firstly, selected candidates must present the document in which they accept or renounce the grant within 10 working days after the date on which announcement of the award is published.
Candidates who accept the grant must also present the following documentation.
First and as soon as possible:
- Authorization Non-EU citizens
- Document of admission to a PhD programme of the URV
- Scanned copy of Academic Degree (Bachelor and Master)
- Scanned copy of DNI or NIE (both sides) or passaport (all sheets, blank ones included)
Afterwards:
- For the URV contract:
- Social Security number, otherwise TA-1 form + Scanned copy of your VISA (if applicable)
- After signing the contract (all documents in a single email):
- Personal and bank account details.
- Model 145 IRPF
- Declaration of cession of rights
- 1 photography for the URV card in 'jpg' format maximum 80KB (other formats not accepted)
These documents have to be sent to mfp.cofund(ELIMINAR)@urv.cat
The selected candidates must apply within three months from the date on which the selection process is concluded, and must complete their registration onto a doctoral programme and present the corresponding documentation to the Human Resources Service during the first trimester of the grant.
In accepting the grant you also agree to its terms and conditions. It is important that you read these terms and conditions.

NIE renewal
In order to renew the residence permit, candidates can do it by themselves with a valid digital signature (check the guide), or the HR department can support the candidates. In any case, candidates will need:
- Complete passport
- Justificante del abono de la tasa: Tax and receipt together (mark option 7 “Renovada”)
- Mantenimiento: Extension of your signed contract (which will provided to each candidate by the HR department)
- Formulario: Application form signed. Instructions to fill in the form
- Copy of the NIE (both sides)
If candidates decide to be supported by the HR department, they must submit the required documentation to anna.benages(ELIMINAR)@urv.cat, 2 months before the end date of the NIE card, following these guidelines:
- All documents must be in pdf (not .jpg)
- All documents must be sent in one unique email
- The total sum of documents should not exceed 20 Mb in size
- All documents must be complete and legible
List of necessary documents for the international secondment
Before the secondment:
- PhD Programme Coordinator
- Letter of agreement from the PhD thesis supervisors giving their approval for the secondment.
- Letter of acceptance from the host organization.
- Human Resources Unit
- Approval for research secondments (Sol·licitud de permisos per estades d'investigació i/o estudi personal docent i investigador laboral) /media/upload/arxius/treballar-urv/tramits/PDI/permisos_pdi/model_solicitud_permisos_PDIL_mes_10_dies.pdf
At the end of the secondment:
- PhD Programme Coordinator
- Letter in which the supervisor of the secondment confirms that it had a minimum duration of 90 days- for the "International Doctor Distinction" title
- MFP-COFUND Programme
